My brother and I took a break from the usual Tasty Thai, and we gave nearby Smile Thai a chance. The place is very clean and it has a good smattering of Thai decor that makes the place metro cozy.
I was very happy with the Yellow Curry with Chicken ($9.95). The coconut spiciness was just right. And the vegetables were perfectly cooked, which isn't always the case at other places. I also tried the Cashew Nut with Tofu ($9.95) which had a wonderful presentation and the best tofu I've probably ever had. It had a great crunchy exterior and not mushy on the inside, while not being over fried. A great feat! A Thai iced tea ($2.95) is always a nice beverage to pair with an entree. The service was flawless.
I'm excited to go back and try the drunken Noodles I keep hearing about. And of course, to partake in the all-telling "Pad Thai test."
This place is excellent.

I ordered Tom Yum with tofu and smiled and smiled throughout sipping every flavorful sip. It's hands down the best Tom Yum I've had in years. It was sweet, sour and full of tofu, lime leaves, lemongrass, ginger and tomatoes. Lots of other Thai restaurants omit the ginger and lime leaves which is an abomination to the delicate soup. We also ordered Drunken Noodles and the Pad Sew e. The noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauces were savory, flavorful and spicy. The tofu was firm and well done.
I literally was moaning and smiling throughout my dinner. I am so excited to have stumbled upon yet another Thai restaurant in town that I will weekly crave.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. We were the only ones there so the service was great. Had the Yellow Curry which was great, husband had a seafood dish which was also very good. Only drawback was the high prices, expecially on beer, $4.50 a bottle for Thai beer. Had 2 appetizers, 2 entres and 3 beers, total was $84.
